This class is remarkably free in bloom; flowers on long, graceful stems; preferred by many to the more formal double varieties as a cut flower. Harold. Dark velvety maroon, nearly black. Sandusky. Orange, large size, very distinct. White Queen. Large, pure white. Yellow Gem. Deep yellow. 15 cents each. CACTUS DAHLIAS. A very showy and effective section of the Dahlia family. Especially fine for cut flowers. Constance. Pure white; fine shaped flowers and one of the freest blooming. Cochineal. Dazzling crimson scarlet. The flowers are produced in the grandest profusion. Clifford W. Bruton. Extra large flowering; pure yel- low; one of the very best of its class. Flowers are 4 to 5 inches in diameter and always beautiful. 20c. Glare of the Garden. A grand variety of the loose flowered or flat petaied type; by far the most brilliant scarlet of any Dahlia we cultivate. Henry Patrick. Pure white; very free flowering. Lady Marshall. Orange scarlet, shaded carmine. Mrs. Barry. Purple with crimson shadings. Mrs. Peart. A very distinct variety with beautiful quilled petals, pure white. 25c. Mrs. Hawkins. Rich sulphur, shading off to the tips of the petals with light canary yellow. A beautiful variety. Mrs. G. Reed. Flowers pure white, conspicuously edged with rosy lake. The petals are deeply cleft, giving it a peculiar fringed appearance. Panthia. Bright red, with salmon shading; very free blooming. 20c. Sidney Hollings. Deep, rich maroon, shading to black. A beautiful variety. William Pearce. One of the most prolific bloomers in this class; flowers of medium size, very double; color deep yellow.

NYJVIPHAE. Nymphae. (The pink water-lily Dahlia.) The flow- ers are of large size, with heavy broad petals, those of the center being somewhat cupped or in- curved. The color is a clear, distinct, light- shrimp pink, shading slightly darker toward the outer petals. 20c. Unless noted, 15c. each; 8 for $1.00. POMPON OR BOQUET DAHLIAS. Flowers small, of the most perfect shape; very useful for cut flowers. Beauty of Springfield. Deep red. Dr. Webb. Rich scarlet; small. Fashion. Pale orange; fine. Fairy Tales.
