MME. WELCHE. MADAME WELCHE. The flowers have great dcpth and substance, and are of fine glob- alar form, v illi brood, thick petals, ami large, finely-shai>ed buds. The color is a beautiful shade of soft amber yellow, deepening to- wards the center u> Roe orange or coppery-yellow, delicately tinged tnd clouded with paie ruddy crimson. Both flowers and buds are remarkably sweet, ami the plant is a good, healthy grower, of a ••impact, bushy habit, producing its exquisite buds and flowers in neat abundance during the whole growing season. It is fine for the conservatory, and none better^or open ground. Price, -_u cents; large size, 33 cents. flADEHOISELLE FRANCISKA KRUQER. The striking color of this handsome Rose places it at once in the front as a bud producer in the open air. It is closely allied to Catherine Mermct, and resembles it in everything save color. In its shading of deep coppery-yellow it stands unique and distinct from all others. 'Ihe flower, when open, is of good size and very -ymni"triral. One of the finest Roses to plant in masses and ' lumps. Price, 15 cents; large .size, 25 cents. NIPHETOS. This still holds the lead as being the most elegant white Rose. : be buds are three inches Ions. It Is positively startling in size and i'urity. and is always scarce. iTice, 15 cents; large size, 25 cents. J. B. VARRONE. (New Tea Rose.) There is no question abotit this being a truly splendid Rose, it has the form, color and substance of those very choice and valuable varieties which only come occasionally. Superb elongated buds, and extra largei vase^shaped blooms, color and in- tensely scarlety-crimson. very rich and bright, beau- tiful ly shaded with salmon-yellow or bull'rose at cen- ter. Very beautiful and sweet. Price, 15 cents; large size, 25 cents. SAPPHO. (New Tea Rose.) Buds fawn color, suffused with rose, opening flowers shaded yellow and tawny butt', centers a deep, bright yellow, large, full, and globular. It produces blooms with extraordinary profusion, even tor a Tea Rose. The petals are large and of much substance. A splendid rose to keep after being cut. This we commend as being one of the prettiest and sweetest Roses ever brought before the public. Cer- tainly grand. Has our highest praise. . Price, 15 cents; large size, 25 cents. MARIE GUILLOT. Perfect in form; the flower is large and double to the center. Until the introduction of the Bride this held first place among white Tea Roses in purity of color, depth of petal, and queenliness of shape. Grows well and is healthy. One of the best out-door summer-blooming Roses; an absolute pure white when fully in bloom. Price, 20 cents; large size, 35 cents. MISS WENN. (New Tea Rose.) This charming variety is noticed at once for its ex- quisite color, which seems entirely distinct from almost all other Roses of our acquaintance. We call it a clear coral pink, and most novel and distinct shade of color very difficult to describe. The French call it china pink. It is certainly a very beautiful color, and the rose will doubtless begreatlyadmired, as it is large, very double and full and exquisitely Tea scented. Price, 15 cents; large size, 25 cents. MME. F. KRVGER.
