Description

Tariffen fra 1917 ble fra den 1. april 1919 oppsagt av Buss og Sporveisbetjeningens Forening, og man innledet forhandlinger i mars. Det ble imidlertid ikke oppnådd enighet, og fra den første april ble det 22 dager med arbeidsstans. Overrettssaksfører Ørnulf Lindboe ble oppnevnt som megler og forhandlet frem en tariff som ble godkjent av begge parter. Dette inkluderte begynnerlønn for fast ansatt vognbetjening på 3.600 kr. pluss dyrtidstillegg på 700 kr. per år. Etter 6 års ansiennitet kom lønnen på 4.800 kr. pluss tillegg. Verkstedsarbeiderne fikk 3.800 kr. pluss 700kr. i dyrtidstillegg, og vaskebetjeningen endte opp med 6,30 per natt pluss 2,70 i dyrtidstillegg.
