Sphinctrina tubiformis A. Massal. Notes: Microscopy: mounted on C; Image location: Carnaxide, Oeiras, Portugal This a Lichenicolous fungi growing on a Pertusaria sp., in this case P. heterochroa. It is characterized by: - Ascocarp having a short stalk (noticeable in the photos); - Very small black apothecia (0.2-0.4 mm, according to the references); - Asci cylindrical with 8-spores each; - Spores ellipsoid-fusiform with pointed ends, exhibiting ornamentation consisting of ridges more or less longitudinally arranged (Average dimensions obtained: Me = 13.3 × 7.3 um ; Qe = 1.8 (N=21)).
