Description

Sometimes a plant is just as interesting when it has finished flowering as it is when it is flowering.

I am not sure which Calytrix this is but thought the old flower head was very attractive.

Calytrix flowers have fine hairs extending rom the ends ot their calyx called awns. They do not drop off once the flower petals have dropped.
