Rückseite: ET INDIARVM REX ANO 1651. Vierpass geviertelt.

Kommentar: Diese 8-Reales-Münzen zählen zu dem sogenannten Schiffsgeld (Macuquina), die in mexikanischen und südamerikanischen Münzstätten geschlagen wurden. Dieses Stück ist außerdem, wie so oft, gelocht. Per königlichem Münzdekret vom 17. Februar 1651 wurde ein neues Münzbild verordnet, auf der Vorderseite sollte jetzt das viergeteilte Wappen stehen und auf der Rückseite die Säulen des Herkules (siehe das neue Münzbild Objektnummer 18214112). Diese Ausprägungen begannen 1652. - 'P' steht für die Münzstätte Potosí und 'E' ist das Kürzel für den Edelmetallprüfer Ergueta.
