Description
English: The C-75 (SA-2) SAM launcher used to shoot down Francis Gary Powers' U2 over the Urals in Soviet Russia, May 1st 1960 (with replacement unarmed missile in place). The launcher is adorned with a plaque commemorating its role in the U2 incident. The launcher is on display at the Air Defence Forces Museum, Balachinka district, Zarya village, 6 Lenin Street.
