English: Southwold Lighthouse The white lighthouse towering over the town. There is a large mix of architecture ranging from the small fisherman's cottages to the large mansions and 1960's flats.
Construction of the Lighthouse started in 1887. The lighthouse replaced 3 local lighthouses which needed to be replaced. The present lighthouse lit up on the 3rd September 1890.
