Description
English: Southern Vectis 308 Warden Point (HW54 BUF) (left), and 319 Barnes Chine (SN03 LDJ), both Dennis Dart SLF/Plaxton Pointer 2 MPDs, turning left out of Town Quay into the High Street, Cowes, Isle of Wight, on route 1. This was the last day of route 1 running every six minutes. A new timetable was introduced on 18 April 2010 (which was a Sunday so the 1 ran at Sunday frequency), and from Monday 19 April, route 1 went back to every 7-8 minutes, to increase reliability. As seen here, route 1 wasn't running very well, as these two buses are definitely not six minutes apart. Bunching on the 1 is common, hence the new timetable to improve reliability was imposed.
