English: Lepas australis (Southern Goose Barnacle). These barnacles washed ashore in the Narrabeen Head Aquatic Reserve in Sydney, Australia. They were part of a group of hundreds attached to a floating log. We moved the log into some shallow water and the barnacles all woke up for a feed! |
