Summary

[edit]
Description

Flying over Southern England. In the foreground, Hayling Island, beyond it, Thorney Island - formerly RAF, now Army-owned.

At the top of the picture is Selsey (right) and just out of shot, at top-left, Chichester.

During World War Two this is the sort of view German Raiders would have had when carrying out daylight attacks on the area.
