Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Old South School building. Built in 1889 at Washington street between Walnut and Pear, it was Centralia's first multi-room school serving all grades. It would quickly prove inadequate and the North School was built the following year, with the high school relocating there. Later known as the Lincoln School, this building was demolished in 1920 for a new Lincoln Elementary, completed in 1922. Centralia College now covers the site.
