| Description |
(1 in a multiple picture album) On the left side of this picture you will see a line of trees near the bottom of the canyon. The trail leading to it is Bright Angel. In the trees is nestled Phantom Ranch with limited facilities for overnight stays. Just beyond the ranch is a drop off to the Colorado River. Unless you are in very good shape, do not think about walking down to Phantom Ranch. But if you are fit, go for it. If you plan ahead and can afford it you can ride the mules down and back. |
