English: South Knapdale Transmitter This big tower is a main relay of the Main-Station transmitter at Black Hill near Glasgow.
South Knapdale covers a considerable area of the Kintyre peninsula and when it was commissioned it replaced many of the surrounding minor relays. Lochgilphead is just one site it replaced. |
