Oblong centsprent met 3 x 4 houtsneden met afbeeldingen uit het soldatenleven: zwepen maken, duel, een bokkend paard, schildwacht, zoon van huzaar in pak vader, drie soldaten te paard, een Rus in een berenvel, schietende soldaten, rust, treffen met de vijand, overlopers gevangen 'die ongetwijfeld zullen hangen', een executie. Met tweeregelige rijmende onderschriften in Nederlands en Frans.
