Description
Svenska: Hamnkranen Elefanten i Visby är byggd efter Sir William Fairbairns patent från 1850. Den kom förmodligen hit omkring 1900. Den drevs för hand men fick elektrisk drift 1921. Det finns ytterligare en berömd Fairbairn kran i Bristol i England.
English: The Harbour crane called the Elephant in Visby harbour probably was erected around 1900. It is built inspired by Sir William Fairbairns patent from 1850. This one was electrified in 1921.
