| Description |
English: The Tropical Smoothie Rock, or "Smoothie Rock" is a Yukon, Oklahoma landmark infamous for its apparently inherent ability to attract nearby vehicles as a street light attracts insects after dark. Located across the parking lot from its namesake, the Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Smoothie Rock has been hit by a number of vehicles entering and exiting the lot. According to a local news report, Kyle Moody has witnessed a number of these accidents, with many of the vehicles needing to be towed to freedom. Kyle speculates that the rock is haunted. Who's to say? The photographer of this picture escaped damaging his vehicle on the rock; however, despite parking a good distance from the rock, his car's battery temporarily died after, almost necessitating a tow. |
