A furtherdescription is given under fig. 3. U. S. National Museum,Catalogue No. 65514. 2. (X 2.) Photograph of the matrix of the left side of figs. 1 and 3, reversed so as to show the appendages adhering to it ina natural position. These have been drawn in on fig. 3 inorder to restore some of the finer parts that were lost byexfoliation when the shale was split open at the quarry. 3. (X2.)
