Original Message ----- From : Alan Stanton To : Haringey Urban Environment Department Sent : Sunday, June 14, 2009 9:14 PM Subject : Small Green, Rycroft Way N17 - Pruning lower trunk growth. Please see the photo I took on Saturday 13 June and posted on Flickr: It shows the small green next to Rycroft Way N17. As far as I know, this is Housing land which Parks maintains on behalf of Homes for Haringey. It's a pleasant green area which is reasonably well looked after — with occasional rubbish and litter removed. In the past I've been concerned about lower trunk growth on some of the trees which creates a "screen" of foliage. A Police Crime Prevention officer advised this should be regularly cut back to allow better overlooking and line-of-sight.
