How armor's slope affects shell penetration

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This image shows the "slope effect" on apparent armor thickness. With a 45° slope to armor, it is 42% thicker on the penetration vector than the actual thickness of the actual armor plate. Armor that is 50mm thick has an effective thickness of 71mm.
