English: A German Soldier assists a U.S. Army paratrooper with the 173rd Brigade Support Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade, after an airborne-operation at Lake Constance, Germany, July 29, 2022. 75 paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade and 75 German paratroopers from the 26th Airborne Brigade ‘Saarland’ participated in the operation. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance. (U.S. Army photograph by Staff Sgt.
