Faktografie: Původní budova čp. 934 byla ve 2. polovině 20. století zrekonstruována pro střední odbornou školu oděvní a rozšířena stavebně o další nové prostory, ve kterých probíhala středoškolská výuka až do likvidace školy v 90 letech. V roce 1999 budovy převzalo město a v části s původní budovou v roce 2000 zřídilo Základní uměleckou školu Vítězslava Nováka. V nově přistavěných budovách pokračovala středoškolská výuka typu gymnázia.
