Fältelungen der Pehuencheschichten(und Notostylopsschichten?); es kommen hier Einfallswinkelbis 65° vor. Auch diese Zone ist nur 2 bis 3 km lang. Am Pico Salamanca fand ich in Schichten, die wahrschein-lich zur Pehuenchestufe zu rechnen sind, einen ganz kurzenSattel, dessen Flügel sich nach den Seiten hin sehr schnellwieder flach legen und der N 55 bis 60° W streicht. Seine Längebeträgt noch keinen halben Kilometer. Möglichenfalls liegt auchdas Petroleum von Comodoro Rivadavia, das in 520 bis 540 mTiefe durch einen Zufall erbohrt worden ist, auf einem solchenkleinen Sattel, doch müssen darüber erst weitere BohrungenAufschluß geben. Weitere Faltungen habe ich in dem ganzen Gebiete nichtgefunden. Ich füge heute noch eine Photographie bei, die die Auf-richtung von Schottern (Einfallen nach Osten) in der Quebradade la Punta del Agua bei UUun, nordwestlich von San Juanzeigt. Ich habe Schotter bis zu 90° aufgerichtet und mit einerSchieferung unter 45° dazu bei Jachal gefunden.
