English: Sir Thomas Haslerton Effigy of a late 14th century knight in the Lady Chapel of St.James' church. Believed to be Sir Thomas Haslerton of Aylesby who rebuilt St.Leonard's Nunnery in Grimsby after it was destroyed by fire in the 13th century, his effigy was removed here following the Dissolution of the Priory in the 16th century. |
