Summary
[edit]DescriptionSimple pleasures. - geograph.org.uk - 1184917.jpg |
English: Simple pleasures. Children explore among the weed covered rocks of the foreshore at Cremyll. Beyond, in Plymouth Sound, Drake's Island and Crystal Serenity. Masts on Staddon Heights can be seen on the left in the far distance and so too 'the wall' which was constructed at the turn of the century as the butt for a smokeless powder rifle range, on the right. Staddon Heights is a military training area, the cliffs below having been used by many generations of Royal Marines in honing their cliff scaling skills. |
