Summary
[edit]DescriptionSiltatsaari.jpg |
English: "Before we had the czar, now we have the Siltatsaari [Silta-czar]"; right-wing caricaturist Topi Vikstedt thought that the left wing of labour movement (which had its headquarters in Helsinki's Siltasaari) had replaced the Russian czar as the main opressor of Finland – and was possibly worse. Published in Finnish humour magazine Kerberos. Suomi: Oikeiston näkemystä edustavassa Topi Vikstedtin pilakuvassa työväenliikkeen siltasaarelaiset ovat korvanneet tsaarin Suomen sortajina – ollen mahdollisesti vielä pahempia. Julkaistu Kerberos-pilalehden joulunumerossa. |

Copyright may extend on works created by French who died for France in World War II (more information), Russians who served in the Eastern Front of World War II (known as the Great Patriotic War in Russia) and posthumously rehabilitated victims of Soviet repressions (more information).
