English: YOKOSUKA, Japan (Nov. 13, 2015) – Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Capt. David T. Glenister shakes hands with commander, 13th Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, Col. Yuji Hirata following the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) at the command headquarters building on Fleet Activities Yokosuka (FLEACT) Nov. 13. The MOA was signed preceding the annual bi-lateral, force protection and anti-terrorism Guard and Protect exercise taking place in December that will include security from both CFAY and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force on the naval base. FLEACT provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 83 tenant commands, and 24,000 military and civilian personnel.
