| Description | Siegel des Landgerichts der Landgrafschaft Sausenberg und der Herrschaft Rötteln. Im 1. und 4. Feld des Wappenschildes ist das badische Wappen mit dem Schrägbalken abgebildet. In Feld 2 ist der sausenbergische (breigauische) Löwe (gekrönt und hier heraldisch rechtsgewendet) zu sehen. Im 3. Feld wird der aus einem Wolkenfeh wachsende Röttler Löwe gezeigt. Abzeichnung von einem Originalsiegel in großherzoglichen Archiv durch Franz Zell. Ein Siegel mit diesem Wappenbild wurde auch noch 1809 verwendet, wobei die Jahreszahl 1553 fehlte und die Form des Schildes geändert hatte. |
