At bottom of oval is simulated fringed, festooned drapery held in place by cords and tassels. At top of oval in either side is a pair of cornucopias filled with roses. It is inspired from a late 18th century design. The design is printed in deep red flock while the field is an old red strie finished in a dull glaze.
