Summary
[edit]DescriptionSicilian Ceramics, Teste di Moro.jpg |
English: The story behind these ceramics starts with a Moorish merchant visiting Palermo. He fell in love with a local girl. When the gild found out he had a wife and child at home, she flew into a rage and killed him. She then used his head as a pot plant, which is why you will often see the Moorish Heads as plants on balconies throughout Sicily.
