Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The neoclassical interior of the Roman Catholic church in Balatonkiliti, Hungary, Siófok, built between 1801 and 1804. Its altars are original, the former depicting the Assumption of the titular Saint Anacletus, the latter the Immaculata iconography of Virgin Mary but with the infant Jesus in her arms. On the nave wall four 18th-century grisaille paintings can be seen, probably commissioned by the nobility, they depict Christ, Mary, St Joseph and St John of Nepomuk respectively.
