| Description |
English: The little Ashchurch - Great Malvern train seen from Twyning Farm. View northward, towards Ripple, Upton-on-Severn and Great Malvern. A December scene from our farm. As usual, the infrequent train had just one coach - and possibly only one passenger. This time an ex-Midland 3F 0-6-0 was the engine. (The line was closed beyond Upton in 12/52, beyond Tewkesbury in 8/61: in fact it was worked as a single line, by token - no signalling, the other track being used for wagon storage only. |
