Original 1892 cast iron fireplace in Lodge at entrance to Shroggs Park, Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. Building designed in 1892 by William Swinden Barber. The date is carved on a brick on the back wall, under the gable. The Halifax coat of arms is carved on the front wall. As of February 2014 the building was under renovation. Note: Apologies for blurred photograph, but this is the only image that we have of important historical information for this building. The image can be replaced if a better photograph can be found. |
