Description
English: Shiva temple in Thulo Mainihawa, located in Kapilvastu Municipality Ward No. 8 of Kapilvastu District. The district headquarters of Kapilvastu is about 2 km east of Taulihawa Bazaar on the left side near the road to Lumbini. This temple is different from other Shiva temples in Nepal, i.e. it has four long styles. Very artistic, attractive as well as sexual art is inscribed in this temple. There is even a large pond in front of this temple. This temple also has an inscription written by Shripal Chaudhary on 1961/11/21. Devotees also flock to this temple on the great Hindu festival of Mahashivaratri. Also on the same day, devotees make earthen Shivalingas in front of the temple to worship.
