Description
日本語: 白山比咩神社創始の地 飛地境内 舟岡山の南山頂 標高178ｍ。林の中にあり、白山比咩神社が初めて鎮座した場所を示す石柱碑と顕彰碑がある。各地の大社名社同様に、古代の神籬（ひもろぎ）を再現する様子。地元の言い伝え 昔は、丘のこの南の頂はブナや落葉広葉樹の林のため、まばらで明るい林の中を周遊し、木苺を探し遊べ、乾燥した落ち葉土が脛まで深く弾力ある、氏子の子供たちの遊び場。丘の南側を等高線沿いに巻いて子供にも上れる緩やかな坂の細道からは見晴らし良く手取川上流・表参道の森・古宮公園を見下ろせ、古宮の安久濤の森に緩やかに下る長い小道があった。現在は、昔の小道は自動車道拡幅工事で途絶え、舟岡山南の山頂へは笹葉と土の崩れる険しい急斜面を直登する九十九折の道。現在、頂上の植生は大きな密集杉林に代わり陰が濃く土は硬い。
