Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents
Description A version of the "Shield of the Trinity" or "Scutum Fidei" diagram of traditional western Christian symbolism. (For further information on the diagram, see en:Shield of the Trinity.) This illustration shows an all-caps Latin-language version of the diagram (without distinction of "U" vs. "V") on a shield. The short overline above one of the letters of SACTVS indicates that a nasal consonant letter (N or M) is missing (i.e. SANCTUS). The long overline above SPS indicates a general contraction or abbreviation (for SPIRITUS).
Date 1891. (Slight image processing and cleanup of raw TIFF scan in 2012 by User:AnonMoos.)
