抹殺しよう

これは決してニューヨー
クやロンドンの街頭では
ない。日本の街頭だ。し
かもわれ〱(Odoriji, Iteration mark)は、いま米
英と戰つてゐる。それに
どうだらう、わが日本の
都會にこの横文字看板が
氾濫してゐるとは…か
かる米英媚態の看板は斷
然やめようではないか

それではどういふ看板かんばん(Ruby character)が米英
媚態びたい(Ruby character)のものであるかといふと、
大體こゝに取り上げた看板のや
うに、この商店は一體なにを商あきな(Ruby character)
つてゐるのか、その肝腎かんじん(Ruby character)なとこ
ろが橫文字よこもじ(Ruby character)で書いてあつたり、
店名に敵米英の地名ちめい(Ruby character)や人名を用
ひてあるものである。これは誰
が考へても日本人につぽんじん(Ruby character)をお客として
ゐる日本の店のとるべきことで
はなく、まして敵國てきこく(Ruby character)の地名や人
名を書くにいたつては媚態びたい(Ruby character)以外
の何物なにもの(Ruby character)でもないであらう
