Summary
[edit]DescriptionShandon railway station (site), Argyll and Bute (geograph 5397647).jpg |
English: Shandon railway station (site), Argyll and Bute Opened in 1894 by the West Highland Railway, later part of the North British Railway, on the line from Helensburgh to Fort William, this station closed in 1964 and has been demolished. View south east towards Rhu and Helensburgh. It is hard to imagine now an island platform in between two running lines here, but there was. |
