We were on our way to the Makadikadi Basin when I took this picture. The sun was setting and the lighting was perfect.

| Description |
English: The Okavango Delta occasionally floods. This usually happens when there are heavy rains in the highlands of Angola. The Cubango River flows south, through Namibia, away from the sea, gathering ever more water until it finally reaches Botswana, where the river becomes known as the Okavango. We were on our way to the Makadikadi Basin when I took this picture. The sun was setting and the lighting was perfect.
