Description

On the right the Severn Bridge crosses the River Severn. On the left the much smaller Wye Bridge spans the River Wye.

The Severn bridge is entirely in England - the right-hand tower is in South Gloucestershire and the other tower is in Gloucestershire.

The right-hand half of the Wye bridge is also in England (Gloucestershire). Wales starts halfway between its towers (Monmouthshire).
