Description
English: A spectrum of seven coloured pencils. Photographed in sunlight. Processed by Lightroom to lower the gamut (saturation mainly) so that the colours fit into sRGB colourspace. Exported using the sRGB colour profile. Then the image is assigned the AdobeRGB profile (without converting any colours) to simulate the oversaturated appearance one gets on a wide gamut monitor when viewing images that aren't colour managed by the application. Finally the image is converted back to sRGB so that more people will see the simulation properly. Note: it is just a simulation since if you have a standard gamut monitor, there is no way to make it produce the lovely highly saturated colours that a wide gamut monitor can produce.
