Description
Italiano: Segnale stradale italiano: segnale di direzione per circonvallazioni. La parte superiore del cartello riporta le sigle del PNF (Partito Nazionale Fascista) e del RACI (Reale Automobile Club d'Italia) e l'indicazione della porta di ingresso cittadina (nel caso specifico Porta Venezia a Milano); nella parte inferiore del segnale è indicato lo sponsor del cartello (nell'esempio la Shell). Modello introdotto dal Real Automobile Club d'Italia verso la fine degli anni '20 del 1900 e usate fino agli inizi degli anni '30.
English: Italian road sign: direction sign for ring roads. The upper part of the sign bears the acronyms of the National Fascist Party (Partito Nazionale Fascista - PNF) and of Royal Automobile Club of Italy (RACI) and the indication of the city gate name (Porta Venezia in Milan); the lower part of the sign bears the name of the sponsor. Introduced at the end of 1920s and used unitl the begin of 1930s.
