| Description |
I spent the best part of today playing with my Dreamcast, endeavouring to get it to talk with the outside world (that is to say, the internet) through my iBook > Router > Modem system. I failed, alas, and as a result did not get online with Phantasy Star Online one more time to say goodbye to the official servers. It was the first online game that I played properly, and I had a great time playing with friends who also had the game. According to the two characters that I have, I put over 200 hours into the game and neither of my characters had reached even half of the maximum level. There was so much stuff in the game that I never managed to do either - Challenge mode, beating Ultimate. I will try again soon, though I'd have to play on the homebrew servers that are kicking about. It'll be close, but not quite the same as the real thing, which has now been lost forever. |
