Fruit retains its good quality for a long time afterripening. Our stock is the very best. (See page Ul.)Pkt. 5c; Oz. 10c; 2 Oz. 16c; h Lb. 20c; Lb. 60c. Ferrys Iceberg In general shape, size and appearance, this is similar tothe well known Kolbs Gem, but is distinctly darker andthe skin where the melon rests on the grovind is rich yel-low instead of white as in that variety. It has a veryfirm, hard rind and is quite as good a shipper as the KolbsGem, but the flesh is much deeper colored, extends nearerto the rind, is much more tender and sweet. We thinkthis variety is much the best dark colored shipping melonyet produced and that as soon as known it will take theplace of those now used for this purpose.
