Summary
[edit]DescriptionSeattle - Metropolitan Tract 1915.jpg | Looking from approximately Second Avenue and Pike Street toward the Metropolitan Tract, Seattle, Washington, c. 1915. The near corner of the Metropolitan Tract would be the (now-demolished) Federal Building / Post Office at center. To the left of that, I believe that was the Post-Intelligencer's building at that time, then the White and Henry Buildings (which look like one building), which were on the location of today's Rainier Square. Directly behind the post office is the rear of the Cobb Building which, unlike these others, still stands as of 2008. |
