| Description |
English: Cover of a brochure at the time of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition (Seattle, Washington, 1909) advertising Seattle's Ravenna Park, then in private hands and also known as Big Tree Park. The totem poles shown were the work of Nuu-chah-nulth (Nootka) carvers, originally from Vancouver Island but living at the time in Seattle. The poles, commissioned by J. E. Standley, founder of Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, and sold to park owner W. W. Beck, became part of the Burke Museum collection in 1913.
