Description Several high-speed catamarans were built for BC Ferries in British Columbia. They went overbudget, and were not delivered on time. Once put in to service the ferries continued to raise concerns. When operating at full speed their wakes were too large, and caused damage. The ferries were taken out of service and auctioned off, for a fraction of their construction cost.
