Italiano: La chiesa dedicata alla S.S. Trinità e San Marziano sorge sulle rovine del cinquecentesco palazzo La Palumba. Costruita dopo il terremoto del 1693, la sua struttura si presenta a torretta, svettante verso l'alto: dalle sue terrazze e possibile ammirare paesaggi mozzafiato. Al suo interno custodisce opere di grande fattura, fra cui un bellissimo affresco di Sebastiano Lo Monaco nella volta della navata. Il pavimento è interamente ricoperta di ceramica di Caltagirone del XVIII secolo. Troviamo diverse tele, fra cui una crocifissione di Giuseppe Velasco e una pala raffigurante Sant'Antonio, del XIV sec, circa. La chiesa fa parte del gruppo dei monumenti nazionali. |
