Description
Deutsch: Schwetzingen, Skulptur in der Dreikönigstraße, Armin Forbrig: Wir91, 1991 Aus dem Kunstführer "Kunst im Öffentlichen Raum": Armin Forbrig wollte hiermit „die nach der staatlichen Einheit Deutschlands sich entwickelnden Probleme zum inneren und zwischenmenschlichen Zusammenwachsen sichtbar machen.“ Der Chemnitzer Bildhauer schuf aus einem ungeglätteten Marmorquader die Illusion eines einst gewaltsam geteilten Blocks, der unentrinnbar mit dicken Tauen zusammengeführt und zu einer vermeintlichen Einheit verbunden wurde.
