Description
Deutsch: Der Schwertträger. Standort: Rathausplatz Kiel. Bildhauer: Adolf Brütt, Enthüllung am 19. Oktober 1912. Der Schwertträger war ursprünglich als Teil eines Brunnens konzipiert. Er stand als Roland-Figur mit seinem Körper dem Rathaus abgewandt. Anlässlich der Rathausplatzumgestaltung zur Olympiade 1972 wurde die Figur umgedreht und steht jetzt mit Blickrichtung zum Rathhaus.
